I collaborated with political professor Dr. Derrick Darby on the cover of his fourth book published in December 2022 by Oxford University Press. He wanted the design to reflect the essence of the book as a proposal for achieving racial justice through inclusive democracy while appealing to an audience of progressive thinkers and activists. Juxtaposing elements on a grid structure with deconstructed typography was a bold solution that felt balanced, grounded, and timeless.
